Senior Subsurface Engineer
Contract Duration: 1 Year
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in reservoir engineering within the oil & gas industry.
- At least 8 years of experience in reservoir management, field development, and reservoir simulation.
- 8-10 years of hands-on experience in compositional reservoir simulation and EOS modelling.
- Proven experience working with gas condensate and volatile oil reservoirs.
- Strong background in supporting field development planning and reserves evaluation.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Lead and manage subsurface engineering activities, including reservoir characterization, dynamic reservoir
modelling, compositional simulation studies and field development planning.
Develop comprehensive field development plans, conduct risk assessments, and work with multi-disciplinary
teams to ensure the successful execution of the project.
Prepare and present detailed technical documents for various regular meetings and liaise with Government
(ADNOC/QatarEnergy) and Shareholder representatives on subsurface and drilling engineering matters as
required.
Education / Qualifications
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related engineering
discipline
Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in Reservoir Engineering, reservoir Engineering or equivalent
Experience
• Required: 10 years’ experience in reservoir engineering within the oil & gas industry including at
least 8 years’ experience of reservoir management, development, and reservoir simulation.
• At least 8–10 years of hands-on experience in compositional reservoir simulation, EOS modelling,
proven track record working with gas condensate, volatile oil reservoirs supporting field
development planning and reserves evaluation.
