Contracts Specialist -Contract Hire

Duration:  The engagement period will continue until 31 December 2027 unless extended through written notification

Location: Abu Dhabi 

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for the formulation and execution of contracts in an oil & gas/petrochemical
environment, from the award and post award stages up to contract close out. Plans, develops and
administers tenders and contracts for the Plant and Head office pertaining to operational,
technical, maintenance and general services.
Scope of work includes Ensure efficient administration of post-award activities and implementation of
contract terms with special attention to those activities on the Critical Path of the Project. Arrange for
Contract close out , Contractor’s Performance Report and the release of Performance Bank
Guarantees.

JOB MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
 Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent

Work
Experience

 6 years’ experience out of which at least 2 years in contracts development within the oil, chemical or petrochemical industry and 2 years specific experience in paralegal contracts administration .
Skills
 Strong background in contracts law
 Claims and counterclaims specialist. Paralegal experience.
 Interpersonal skills, good oral and written communication skills.
 Ability to analyse business trends.
 Problem solving ability and analytical skills.
 Applicable Project Management skills.
