Lead the formulation and implementation of comprehensive strategies that cater to the diverse stakeholders of Fertil, Fertiglobe, and its subsidiary companies. Through strategic alignment of communication and CSR endeavors with business objectives, drive meaningful societal progress while fortifying and elevating the brand’s reputation. Demonstrate an unwavering commitment to nurturing valuable stakeholder relationships, embedding sustainable practices, and crafting engaging communication narratives.

Fertiglobe is the world’s largest
seaborne exporter of urea and ammonia combined, and an early mover in sustainable ammonia. Job-Specific Accountabilities

Internal and External Communications and CSR
Strategy and Planning

· Plans and manages policies and procedures for Fertil and Fertiglobe’s communication function while supporting the development of internal and external corporate communications strategies, policies, and Content. Develop engaging and informative content for a variety of internal and external mediums, including digital platforms such as the corporate website, social media platforms, blogs, email newsletters, and other digital channels.

· Create high-quality digital content.

· Develops and prepares key messages, content, and narratives focused on Fertiglobe and Fertil’s business activities, achievements, and milestones, while researching, writing, editing, and proofreading accurate and up-to-date content for both internal and external communications.

· Stay up to date with industry Trends. Support the execution of communications plans and activities in Fertiglobe / Fertil and related Divisions.

· Plan and organize local, regional and international events and conferences.

· Oversees and manages the company brand for Fertil and Fertiglobe, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with corporate values across all communication channels and initiatives.

· Manage public relations and reputation risk management to increase awareness of Fertiglobe / Fertil business operations to external and internal stakeholders.

· Build and execute internal communications and campaigns and culture transformation programs and drive awareness and action in support of strategic initiatives and programs.

· Establish the identification of opportunities for employee volunteering programs and their coordination with Internal Communications.

· Prepare and conduct communications needs assessments for the company divisions, projects and initiatives.

· Develop and prepare the provision of information for elaboration of company management communications and outreach strategy based on the corporate communications strategy.

· Manage and facilitate events and leadership activities that support the communication objectives of company. · Oversee the Group intranet and internal communication platforms, ensuring content is up-to-date and links are accurate for effective information dissemination. Lead the team to ensure the required mandate from corporate communication is fulfilled and concern stakeholders are satisfied.

Generic Accountabilities Operational Plans

· Develops consistent and realistic long- and short-term operational plans for the Department in line with the Division objectives and manage the implementation of the approved long and short term plans and ensure they are effectively converted into its performance objectives to realize the Division Objectives and established service levels.

Budgets and Operational Plans

· Develops and manages the Department annual budget in line with the Division’s business objectives and operational plans ensuring that adequate funding provision is made for all Department activities.

· Monitors expenditure against approved Department budget on a regular basis; investigate, highlight and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures

· Develops and implements appropriate Department policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls, Company guidelines to support execution of the Division’s work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Performance Management

· Contributes to the development of the Division’s KPI’s and ensure proper cascade of the Performance objectives within the Department and establish monitoring mechanisms to ensure delivery of these objectives and promote a performance driven culture.

· Manages the implementation of the Company Performance Management System for individuals within the Department in accordance with Company approved guidelines.

People Development

· Develops knowledge, competencies and innovative spirit in the Department and support the establishment of Personal Development Plans (PDP’s), Succession Planning and Talent pipeline within the Department in coordination with the Human Capital to continuously develop employees with emphasis on UAE Nationals to meet Emiratization targets.

Organization Structure and Development

· Reviews, develops, and recommends the appropriate organization structure for the Department that will best utilize human capital while proactively incorporating sustainability into the on-going work practices to meet the business objectives.

Risk Management

· Contributes and supports establishment of a Corporate Integrated Risk Management System within the Department, while identifying and assessing relevant domain risks and implement measures to manage and mitigate all identified risks within the Department.

· Communicates corporate business ethics and Company’s Code of Conduct to employees within the Department and ensure compliance to the Corporate Policies and guidelines.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

· Promotes an organization culture that encourages innovation, enhances employee motivation, and supports initiatives for implementation of Change Management to continuously improve the Department operations and services.

· Recommends improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with ISO standards to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the Department.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

· Supports the institution and implementation of an HSE culture and ensure compliance with relevant HSE policies, procedures, systems & controls and applicable legislation and sustainability guidelines across the Department in line with international standards, best practices, and ADNOC Code of Practices.

· Ensures adequate HSE training and induction for all Department employees to meet HSE standards.

Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reports

· Ensures that all Department MIS and progress reports are prepared to provide accurate and timely reports and necessary information to Company Management to effectively manage the business.

COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Internal

Maintain frequent contact with Leadership Team, Line Managers on corporate (internal and external) communications and corporate social responsibility issues, exchanging views and providing issue-specific information and assistance as required.

Continuous contact with ADNOC HQ Downstream Communications Department on all external communications and CSR activities.

External

Has frequent contact with Government agencies and officials up to ministerial level.

Has regular contact with local, regional, and international media (including press, television and radio) to protect and promote the Company’s brand, image, and reputation.

Maintain periodic contact with counterparts in the Fertiglobe / ADNOC Group and shareholders as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Minimum Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in communication/public Relations, Journalism, or equivalent.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
10 to 12 years of experience in the Corporate Communication covering Media Relations and PR functions with at least 6 years in a relevant managerial role.
